What's in the free version?
19 checks are open forever: the live port probe, display, keyboard, trackpad with Force Touch, Touch ID, camera, microphone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, charging and more. The full version unlocks battery, SSD, speakers, stress tests, the remaining sensors and the PDF report. No trial clock — the free checks never expire.
How many Macs can I check with one Personal key?
Two Macs are included — typically your own and the one you're buying. Each Mac keeps its slot forever, so re-checking the same machine is always free. Need to check another Mac later? Add a slot from inside the app in two clicks; the store shows the price and payment links to your key automatically. Repair shops that check Macs daily should look at Service — unlimited Macs from a USB stick.
Is it safe to run on a Mac I don't own yet?
Yes. The app is notarized by Apple, changes nothing on the machine, writes no fingerprints, installs no drivers and needs no internet. It reads hardware state and shows it to you.
Is the download safe?
The DMG is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, and it's served from GitHub Releases over HTTPS. Gatekeeper verifies the signature the first time you open it.
Which Macs are supported?
MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro on macOS 10.15 Catalina or newer — both Intel and Apple Silicon. The checklist adapts automatically to the exact model, using a built-in database of 70+ MacBook models.
Do I need the internet?
The free version never needs it. A paid license goes online once, to activate — after that diagnostics run fully offline, including on Macs that have never been connected.
How do updates work?
The app checks a signed update feed and installs new versions in one click. Updates are free on every tier.
What languages does it speak?
English and Russian — the interface, the test instructions and the PDF reports.
What if it doesn't work on my Mac?
Try the free version first — it never expires and shows how the app runs on your exact Mac. If you buy the full version and it fails to work on your Mac, email us within 14 days and tell us what went wrong: we fix it, or refund the purchase and deactivate the license.
Who makes this?
The app was built inside a large Apple repair service: it grew out of the checklist the bench runs on every incoming MacBook. It is published and maintained by an independent developer.
