Report · Section 01 — Systems 30+ CHECKS
| System | What's tested |
|---|---|
| BATTERY | Cycle count, real capacity, condition and charging health on both USB-C and MagSafe. |
| PORTS | Every USB-C and USB-A port tested live: plug anything in and watch the port light up. Dead and unstable ports have nowhere to hide. |
| SENSORS | Temperatures, fans, ambient light, lid angle, sleep sensor — read straight from the hardware, with anomalies highlighted. |
| TOUCH ID | Live sensor test that counts every finger touch — works even on a freshly wiped Mac with no fingerprints enrolled. |
| SSD | Full SMART health — wear, reallocated blocks, terabytes written — plus an honest speed test that writes past the cache. |
| AUDIO | Left and right speakers tested in isolation, sweep and music, with a live readout of where the sound is actually going. |
| STRESS | CPU and GPU stress runs with a live throttling graph. A Mac that overheats under load reveals itself in minutes. |
| REPORT | A clean PDF verdict for every check — plus before/after comparison for repair shops, tied to a work order number. |

19 checks are open forever: the live port probe, display, keyboard, trackpad with Force Touch, Touch ID, camera, microphone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, charging and more. The full version unlocks battery, SSD, speakers, stress tests, the remaining sensors and the PDF report. No trial clock — the free checks never expire.
Two Macs are included — typically your own and the one you're buying. Each Mac keeps its slot forever, so re-checking the same machine is always free. Need to check another Mac later? Add a slot from inside the app in two clicks; the store shows the price and payment links to your key automatically. Repair shops that check Macs daily should look at Service — unlimited Macs from a USB stick.
Yes. The app is notarized by Apple, changes nothing on the machine, writes no fingerprints, installs no drivers and needs no internet. It reads hardware state and shows it to you.
The DMG is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, and it's served from GitHub Releases over HTTPS. Gatekeeper verifies the signature the first time you open it.
MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro on macOS 10.15 Catalina or newer — both Intel and Apple Silicon. The checklist adapts automatically to the exact model, using a built-in database of 70+ MacBook models.
The free version never needs it. A paid license goes online once, to activate — after that diagnostics run fully offline, including on Macs that have never been connected.
The app checks a signed update feed and installs new versions in one click. Updates are free on every tier.
English and Russian — the interface, the test instructions and the PDF reports.
Try the free version first — it never expires and shows how the app runs on your exact Mac. If you buy the full version and it fails to work on your Mac, email us within 14 days and tell us what went wrong: we fix it, or refund the purchase and deactivate the license.
The app was built inside a large Apple repair service: it grew out of the checklist the bench runs on every incoming MacBook. It is published and maintained by an independent developer.
